Welcome to our Tower Wood page for 2025. Below you will find all the documents that you need. The information PowerPoint will provide all the details for our visit.
Well we have all returned from a brilliant weekend in the Lake District. The children were all amazing, organising themselves and testing themselves out in a range of new activities. Jumping into waterfalls, building rafts, playing games on paddle boards, climbing tall trees, the leap of faith and front flips off the jetty... were just some of the things that we had fun doing. Check out some of the photos below. Happy sleeping everyone!!
Day of Departure
Children need to be wearing clothes ready for activities. Clothes for wet activities (swim wear/wet trainers/towel) should be packed at the top of their bag.
Children need to arrive at school as normal from 8.30am but come straight into the hall - through the main door - with their bags.
Please ensure they are able to carry/pull their own bags.
All medication should be given to a member of staff upon arrival at school.
They will need a packed lunch with them to eat when we have arrived at Tower Wood (please speak to Mrs Scales if you require a lunch from school).
Please see the kit list for more detailed information.
Please remember no electronics or aerosols.
Children can bring roll on insect repellent.
Check the weather forecast and ensure you send sun cream if it might be needed.
Make sure children have two towels - one for water activities and one to use for showers in their room.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
