Learning Together

Every year, the whole school celebrates harvest festival in both school and church, with the collection of wonderful harvest food and letters for people in our local community and Blackburn's Food Bank. As part of our Harvest worship we also learn about the Bishop's chosen Harvest Appeal charity for that year, which highlights to all the need to love our neighbours abroad as well as locally.

This is our Harvest Prayer

Father of all,

Inspire those of us who have more than a fair share of harvest bounty

to give generously, so that those communities which have little

And no share of it may flourish too.

For the sake of Your Son

Jesus Christ Our Lord,
