Learning Together

Class 1

Welcome to Class 1

Hello and welcome to the Class 1 page, my name is Mr Birchall and I teach Class 1.

In Class 1 we aim to ignite your child's love of learning and curiosity, helping them become a rounded individual.

Helping to make our learning as exciting and as enjoyable as possible is Miss Porter-Brown and Mrs Holroyd.

Class 1 is made up of 17 Reception Pupils and 10 Year 1 Pupils.

Following registration in the morning, Reception and Year 1 are taught as single year groups for Maths and Phonics. After playtime the children return together to continue their learning as a mixed age class in their regular classrooms.

Our Current topic is 'How do different plants grow in different areas of the world?'

We hope you enjoy looking at our class page. Please check back regularly for updates and photos.
