We believe 'for with God nothing shall be impossible' (Luke 1:37) Knowing this at the core of everything we do. It underpins our teaching and learning and prepares our pupils to be questioning yet confident, happy yet courageous, determined yet compassionate, strong yet forgiving and most importantly loving citizens of the future.
We believe in lifelong learning through Christ and in the idea that everyone can learn new things every day. Our teaching is not just centred around those things that can be measure, but all those that can't. We aim to educate hearts, minds, bodies and souls through a carefully balanced skills, knowledge and experiential learning curriculum for all. We aim to equip our children with a moral compass which is necessary to enable them to make informed choices about the important things in their lives today and for tomorrow.
By the time they leave us, our children will have a confident set of skills, knowledge, norms and Christian virtues which can be used to get ahead in education and life more generally. In short they will learn more, remember more, enjoy more and develop more spiritually, socially and emotionally. Thus enabling them to be ready for their next stage in education.
We believe that at the heart of all we do is Love and this more than anything else helps our children to lead happy and rewarding lives.
This year we are trying to be more like Christ by learning how He showed others how:
to be Compassionate, to have Courage, to be Kind, to be Humble, to have Joy, to be Responsible and to Love.
