Steps taken to decide on whether to close the school will be as follows:
Your child's education is important and we will be setting lessons via Google Classroom.
If we need to close school for a day parents will be informed as soon as possible through school email, school website and/or phone call, from either the school Bursar or Headteacher. A message will be put out through local radio (BBC Lancashire)
In the event of an emergency closure / evacuation, school will relocate initially to St Mary Church on Church Lane. Parents will be informed by school email, school website and/or phone call, from either the school Bursar or Headteacher. A message will be put out through local radio (BBC Lancashire)
If the school remains closed for an extended period of time, arrangements will be made through the LA and Diocese to relocate to the nearest cluster school St Leonards Balderstone, or other vacant LA/ Diocese Building.
Where the reason for closure is a pandemic, School will notify parents of the current public health guideline as soon as possible and ask parents to follow the treatment/guidelines suggested by LA and Public Health Service.
