Timetable

Below is our timetable for the Autumn term alongside some key information.

PE days are each Wednesday and Thursday.

Every Friday your child will bring home their reading books, to be read, commented on and to be returned the following Friday. Year 2 children will receive 1 or 2 books at a time. Please read little and often throughout the week, ideally 5 minutes a day.

Year 1 children will bring home one reading book per week, to be read in full four times over the week, each time building on flency, expression and comprehension.

On Fridays all the children will receive a piece of maths homework and spellings.

The spellings will be based on the phonic pattern or spelling rule learned in class during the week. This will be sent home each Friday and there will be a quick spelling test the following Friday. The maths homework will relate to the area of maths we have been covering in lessons that week and will be marked on Fridays.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
