Science Curriculum Map

Mixed Classes themes:

As a school we operate mixed class teaching for Science in all year groups. Our long term plans are divided into themes using PLAN assessment science tools. These usually fit in with our class themes. Science lessons are taught in blocks with learning being revisited regularly within class and throughout school.

 

EYFS has a 1 year cycle

KS1 has a 2 year cycle 

KS2 (Y3/4/5) have a 3 year cycle

and KS2 (Y6) has a 1 year cycle
