We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Business Support Officer 5
(Grade 7 SCP 26-31) from April 2019 to join our friendly and hardworking staff.
The appointment is a key role in the continued development of the school and we seek a highly professional skilled person who has excellent communication skills and ambition to share our school vision.
The role will include jointly running the school office with our current School Bursar and assisting of the school's financial management systems. Experience of SIMS and Finance 6 is essential, as are interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head teacher and staff and will require the ability to provide leadership in all aspects of finance, and play assist in premises management, health and safety, administration and personnel. The ability to monitor and organise the administrative/clerical and financial systems and procedures for a primary school.
We are looking for somebody with a friendly, welcoming manner who is able to multitask and work in a busy office environment where there will be frequent interruptions and changing priorities throughout the day.

Desirable Qualifications First Aid Certificate
Experience of Working in a school environment

Experience of HR systems such as Payroll and Oracle
Preparation of reports, letters and documentation
Experience of submitting bids
Experience of Safeguarding Statutory Requirements including the Single Central Record
Understanding of School Governance Desirable Experience
Experience of using Excel
Experience of using Parentpay
