Filtering and Monitoring Information
What are filtering and monitoring systems and how do they work in School?
In our school we use a filtering and monitoring system called Netsweeper. This is monitored remotely by Lancashire Digital Education Services, our IT technicians JTRS as well as in school by the Online Safety Lead Mr Blackburn, on a daily /weekly basis. In appropriate search words are blocked along with illegal content such as Child Sexual Abuse material (CSAM), Counter Terrorism and radicalisation content as well as gambling forums and sites.
