Advent
Advent is a time of preparation and waiting for the birth of Christ. In school, this means getting things ready for the Christmas, preparing the way by revisiting what the prophets proclaimed in the Old Testament as well as understanding the significance of the Advent Wreath.
Each year we look at different Advent celebrations around the world to understand how different Christians carry out their advent traditions and what Advent means to them.
