Hello and Welcome to the United Benefice Community Page

The United Benefice of Balderstone, Mellor and Samlesbury brings together three welcoming parish churches: St Leonard’s, Balderstone; St Mary’s, Mellor; and St Leonard the Less, Samlesbury. Rooted in the Christian faith and serving the communities of the Ribble Valley and surrounding areas, the Benefice offers worship, pastoral care, community events and opportunities for people of all ages to grow in faith and fellowship. Through strong partnerships with local schools, families and community organisations, the churches seek to share God’s love through kindness, service and hospitality, supporting people at every stage of life while maintaining the rich spiritual heritage of these historic Lancashire parishes.
