Charitable giving

Charitable giving is central to all our faiths in school and therefore a central part of what we do to serve God. Children decide which charities they want to support and why and these can be as diverse national charities such as Cancer Research, Macmillan, Children in Need, Save the Children Royal British Legion to more personal ones such as Crohns and Colitis, East Lancs Hospice, Night Safe, as well as international charities such as the DEC (Disaster Emergency Committee), The Red Cross and Landfill Trust.

Each year we also support the Bishop of Blackburn's Harvest appeal which is usually centred around supporting Fair Trade farmers or promoting education, equality and justice for women and children in different regions of the world.
