Breakfast Club

Good Morning from Breakfast Club!

Mellor St Mary's Breakfast Club aims to provide a healthy, secure, friendly and fun start to the school day for children attending our school.

Our Breakfast Club was first launched on September 6th, 2010.  It is organised and run by Mrs Helen Holroyd, a higher level teaching assistant at school, and Mrs Susan Venables, who is a lunchtime supervisor.  Both Mrs Holroyd and Mrs Venables are trained in food hygiene and first aid, and have the relevant CRB documents.  Breakfast Club also adopts the school's health and safety policy.

Breakfast Club food is served at 8:00am, but children may be brought in to school from 7:45am onwards.

We offer a healthy, sustainable breakfast consisting of nut free cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruit and juice is served from 8:00am until 8:20am.  Following breakfast, the children are encouraged to play with a range of activities, prior to going out for ten minutes of fresh air and exercise before the school day begins.

The cost of each session is £6.00, with an initial registration fee of £5.00. Unfortunately we are unable to accept child care vouchers at Breakfast Club. If you require any further information or would like to register your child then please contact Mrs Holroyd through school on 01254 812581 or email directly to hh@mellor.lancs.sch.uk
