Last year they met Tim Peake and learnt all about his life as an astronaut and what it is like to stay on the International Space Station.

Freya's Prayer

Dear God, 

Please help the people who have or are giving their lives for us. When my dad was in the army it was a hard time, he was transporting lots of tanks and things to help them power through the difficulties during the war. Please pray for the people in the past and now. May we all share peace. AMEN

The Macmillan Coffee Afternoon was run my Mrs Higgins and our school council. They raised an incredible £623. Thank you to all our families and staff who supported us.

Christmas in school has been a very magical time of year. There has been plenty of tinsel and tea towels in our Christmas production, which has put a great big smile on all of our faces. The Kiddie Choir have been singing their hearts out all over the village and everyone has been very busy making wonderful cards and crafts ready to take home. A huge thank you to Reception for donating a decoration and putting it on our Christmas tree with such care.

Well done to our STEM group who visited Westholme Junior School this week to take part in a STEM competition. They completed a range of activities which involved science, technology and engineering and they even built a boat!

Thank you to the Church's Easter Experience team who helped make learning about the Stations of the Cross engaging, inspiring and relevant to our lives today. All the children really enjoyed the experience and came away knowing far more about the importance of Easter to Christians around the world.
