Welcome Year 6 to your home learning pages. I will be uploading activities for you to work on each day during the week; these will help you to prepare for Y7 next year. Try your best, but if you have any problems let me know and I will try to help you via email. You must spend at least one hour each day on Maths and on English - but this is the bare minimum. The more you do, the harder you work, the greater your improvements will be.

As you work through the activities, most of the answers are provided on the websites you will visit.

I will add further weekly tasks after the Easter holidays. As you strive hard to improve your learning, remember to use that CAN DO attitude we have been working on all year because: with God all things are possible (Luke 1:37).

LATEST NEWS (8.06.20):

We have received this letter regarding the Y6 Leavers' Service from the diocese. I will make sure you have all the details as soon as I get them.

Dear All,

The planning is now underway for our digital Year 6 leavers services which will premiere on Wednesday 1st July at 10am.  We realise that many Year 6 pupils will not be in school, so we are planning the service in such a way that pupils will be able to watch on their own, or with their families, in their own homes, or in school.

More details of how to access the service and information about follow up activities, will be sent out nearer the time.

Best wishes

Summer Term:

Welcome back after the Easter break. I hope you all had a good rest and are ready to start working again. Thank you to everyone who has sent me their work in and I have started a gallery of that work below, starting with weeks 1 and 2. Keep it coming in.

A special thank you to all parents. I really appreciate your time and efforts in supporting your children through these difficult times. Hopefully, as your child continues to work through the topics set, they will still feel ready to start Y7 in September.

A umber of initiatives have evolved over the Easter break and I am currently looking through them. At the moment I will continue setting the weekly Learning Project work, but may also add other video lessons etc. These, I will include on the relevant weekly pages.

When I set Learning By Questions, the tabs at the top of the work will indicate which sheet your child should be using - I hope this is helpful. The relevant code will be posted on the website.

Thank you again.
