Learning By Questions is not working at all for me, so there will not be any LBQ work posted this week or in the near future. When the situation changes, I will let you know.
Why not join in this great DT competition from CRGS? Send your completed entries to either myself or Mrs Rigby.
Dear Year 6
We would like to invite all of our KS2 students to focus on the 'design' and 'evaluate' elements of the KS2 DT National Curriculum and enter our DT primary competition.
You should watch;
and then complete the activities under ‘Things to do’ Key Stage 2 (7+) Activity Sheet.pdf
Once, you have designed your concepts for your bins, submit photos to myself or Mrs Rigby and we will forward the best two designs. We can only enter 8 for the whole of KS2.
We need your designs no later than Wednesday 17th June.
The winners for each year group (years 3 - 6) will be announced on Monday 29th June 2020. Their work will be showcased on the CRGS website in their latest news section, and a certificate emailed to school.
Both Mrs Rigby and I, look forward to seeing all of your budding designer concepts.
We will look forward to seeing your budding designers concepts.
Good Luck everyone!

The Learning project this week is based around the sea. Any You Tube videos are sourced from 'Safe YouTube', so are perfectly fine to watch.
I have organised the work slightly differently, giving you a focus for each day. There is, as always, challenge and help when needed.
Please continue to share your work with myself and I will get back to you as soon as I can. There has been some fantastic work sent in - well done. I will continue to give you your next steps to further your learning.
Anyone who would prefer a hard copy to work on, then please let me know.
As I have been asking you to continue to practise your Y5/6 statutory word lists, I will be giving you a spelling test soon. Are you ready? What do you still need to work on? I will let you know when the test is as we cannot just do a spot test at the moment whilst remote learning.
This week I have also included a Scratch activity for you to work on with instructions for yourselves and your parents.
There will still be the Learning By Questions on Tuesday and Thursday and in addition, I have included the start of our dedicated science lessons to complete our topics in this subject for Y6.
I hope you and your families are all well and ready for a new week of learning.
